Our 2023 Graduate Management Training program concluded this month, after a year-long intensive training and development for the participants. The program, designed to nurture the next generation of financial leaders, offered participants a comprehensive blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience.
The GMT program was structured to provide trainees with a holistic view of the financial industry. Participants were divided into two groups, with one team embedded within Parthian Partners and the other at its affiliate, i-invest. To ensure a well-rounded experience, trainees rotated through various departments within their respective organizations, gaining exposure to different facets of the business.
Two GMTs trained with the i-invest team, while the other three rotated among departments at Parthian Partners and Parthian Securities.
Esther, a GMT participant at Parthian Partners, described the program as “thrilling,” highlighting the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges. David, who spent his year at i-invest, emphasized the importance of teamwork and communication skills developed during his training. Jennifer, another GMT, expressed her fondness for the Brand, Marketing, and Communication department, where she gained invaluable experience.
The program culminated in a series of presentations where trainees showcased their projects, demonstrating the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the year. These presentations served as a platform for participants to highlight their potential contributions to the organization and influenced the company’s decision on permanent employment offers.
“It was a culminating experience that allowed me to apply all the knowledge I gained through the program.” – Ope from i-invest.
Speaking to the next batch of GMTs, the outgoing group encouraged them to be open and eager learners, to collaborate, maintain a positive attitude, build relationships, and be approachable.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the five Parthian trainees as they await their results!
